Content Feed: Your Guide to Finding and Exploring Content

Content Feed is your home for all content connected to your brand in BlueOcean. Instead of digging through individual Theme or Keyword pages, everything — social posts, news articles, website content, reviews — lives in one unified, searchable feed. This guide covers how to use it.

What is the Content Feed?

Content Feed brings together every piece of content associated with your brand, competitive set, or analyst entities into a single view. You can search, filter, and sort across all of it at once — making it much faster to find what you're looking for and spot patterns across platforms.

What types of content can I see?

Content Feed includes four main content categories:

SocialPosts, replies, mentions, articles, comments, videos, and stories from X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

WebWebsite pages and blog posts.

NewsNews articles, press releases, and (if your account has access) LexisNexis Premium News.

ReviewsAudience reviews and employee reviews from Glassdoor.

How do I search for content?

Use the search bar at the top of the Content Feed to search across your entire content library — not just what's visible on screen. BlueOcean searches the full corpus server-side, so you'll find relevant content even if it's not currently loaded.

How do I filter the feed?

Use the Filter option to narrow your results. You can filter by:

  • Content type — Select Social, Web, News, or Reviews (or any combination)
  • Platform — Choose specific platforms (e.g., just LinkedIn, or just Glassdoor)
  • Brand or Competitive Set — Focus on a specific entity
  • Date range — Use preset ranges (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 1 year) or set a custom range

Filters work together — you can combine multiple at once to get very specific results.

How do I sort the feed?

Use the Sort control to reorder your results:

  • Date — Newest first (default) or oldest first
  • Engagement — Highest to lowest, normalized across platforms so posts from different channels are fairly comparable
  • Sentiment — Most positive to most negative
  • Relevance — Activates automatically when a search query is active

What's the difference between Cards view and Table view?

You can switch between two views depending on how you prefer to work:

Cards view shows each piece of content as a rich card with the platform icon, author name, timestamp, a preview of the content, and engagement and sentiment scores.

Table view lays everything out in a structured table with sortable columns — useful if you're doing more analytical work or comparing a large number of items side by side.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see content from a specific platform?Make sure the platform is connected to your BlueOcean account and that you've selected the right brand and date range. If a platform is connected but content still isn't showing, contact your admin or Customer Success contact.

My search returned no results — what should I try?Try broadening your search terms, removing filters, or expanding the date range. If you're using quotation marks, check for typos in your exact phrase. Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) are case-sensitive, so make sure they're capitalized.

Can I search in languages other than English?Right now, search is optimized for English. Multi-language support is on the roadmap and coming in a future update.
